Bands and Artists we like: (NOTE: This is an ever expanding list that may take me decades to construct..but hey, I gotta start somewhere.) So here we go.

Well, Phish uh, yeah. I don’t think I know you if you don’t like Phish. Or want to, hahaha, just kidding. maybe ;)

Trey is holding a copy of the first Turbine CD! haha, love it!

The magnificent band called Turbine!…another reason I want to live in New York, just so that I can see these guys play every chance I could.

Yes:

My second favorite band on the planet. Progressive is as progressive does. :)

————————————————————–

Byron Space Circus:

A band that makes great times quicker than jello instant pudding.

On stage with Byron Space Circus at The Crow’s Nest. 2008. Turning the night time upside down and clowning around is their biz.

The Janks:

Straight out of L.A. and they blow me away. These guys are going places fast.

——————————————————-

Jacob Fred Jazz Oddessy:

Crazy bizarre and talented as fuck.

———————————–

Naomi and The Courteous Rudeboys:

A local Santa Cruz group that is funking up dancefloors left and right. Naomi’s got some great songwriting skillz and the band I’m pretty sure can play for days on end while still keeping a groove and never playing the same note twice. These guys rock!

Nicoluminous: Oregon based Beatboxer, MC, DJ, Producer and old school amigo. I remember traveling around random music festivals with Nico and some friends and he would commendeer any stage, casbah and tent to play his guitar and loop his words, and he would always mesmorize everyone within any listening distance. Since then, he’s gotten even better. Check him out!

Here’s when I first met Turbine in Kansas of all places, the farthest west they’d ever been. June 2007. It was a good day.

————————————————————–

Tea Leaf Motherfuckin’ Green!: Yeah, that’s right.

——————————————————————–

The Slip: A Band. They seldom record their live shows. Leaving those epic moments in the hearts and minds of those who were there. Tricky format, but so worth the extreame angle they are for some reason going for.

Surprise Me Mr. Davis: Nathan Morre lends his voice, laughter and songwriting skillz to the already illustrious trio.

Bebel Gilberto : The peak of Brazillian beauy right here, eminating from her voice and rhythm.

TLG @ The Independent 2004 (Photo by: Bear) I love this photo.

Who else should be the first band to be listed here? Of course it has to be Tea Leaf Green.
